We’d quote one of our favorite authors of all times, Terry Pratchett who has said it pretty clear – “Fantasy is an exercise bicycle for the mind. It might not take you anywhere, but it tones up the muscles that can.”
In this case, we wanted to draw something so unreal and ludicrous that one starts to wonder if the world in the painting isn’t way more exciting compared to the one we live in. The painting depicts three witches, totally different from the common belief, who, contrary to any expectations, are colorful and smiling.
Snakes, cats, and lizards are all shown in a slightly different way distancing themselves from the conventional stereotype of the occult arts. These are the women you want to be friends with. Snakes you can talk to about hairstyles. Cats that do not understand what their claws were meant for.
Rebelling chameleons who totally refuse to merge with the crowd and sophisticated frogs of royal descent who shine with class and finesse.
