As simple as it may sound it’s a pretty difficult task indeed. Because we admire and respect all animals and species on the planet without exception (cockroaches, spiders, and vultures, seen from the right angle, are no less beautiful than fluffy kittens and ladybugs), we decided to turn our attention to three intriguing animal species. The mammal monkey of the genus Mandrillus, the parrot-representative of the bird world, and the snake-the reptile in our painting.
Our animal team is colorful, diverse, and very cute. According to Chinese beliefs, the monkey is ruled by the star sign Sagittarius. Meaning a dedicated sage who hides his true nature under his joking appearance. The monkey is famous for driving evil spirits away by irritating and later disarming with their laughter and good mood.
On one hand, the serpent is a symbol of death and the underworld, and on the other, of wisdom, knowledge, and extraordinary energy. It preserves the greatest knowledge that exists. It is believed that if a snake appears in your life, it means that you need a change and it is inevitable. Changing the skin symbolizes emotions and their transformation into something bigger and better. The parrot, with its colorful beauty, always gives the feeling of impending good news, a bright future, and liberation of the soul from fears and bad thoughts. The way we see them is a decision one makes according to personal experience, worldview, and mindset.
