It has Italian and Portuguese roots and means brown, referring to people with dark hair, eyes or skin. On the other hand, in Hebrew, it means blessed. The inspiration to draw this painting was the idea that it is not just the jesters who have to change their masks. Every day, according to the situation, practically every person shows just a part of himself. Whether to be sad, angry, joyful, or exuberant is a matter of choice. If we can choose from the rich palette of moods, then why don’t we choose the bright, smiling, positive mask, like Bruno did? Maybe if we wear it long enough, we can blend in! With this painting of ours, we urge you to do just that!
The jester that changes his mask, is captured in a moment of reflection, contemplating which character to pick. His name is Bruno and this is no coincidence.
